Brunston Castle Golf Course – 2 minutes from the resort
Brunston Castle Golf Course is a 6700 yard parkland course set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The course is also split by the Water of Girvan and lined with mature trees. The superb clubhouse, which commands spectacular views over the course, has full dining and bar facilities and there is also a floodlit, covered driving range.

Prestwick Golf Club – approx. 30 minutes from Brunston Castle
Prestwick Golf Club is a relaxed and friendly club that enjoys hosting golfers from all around the World. Visitors are encouraged to use their temporary membership to its full capacity, and enjoy the full lunch in the lavish Dining room or just a snack in the relaxed Cardinal room.

Girvan – approx. 10 minutes from Brunston Castle
Girvan provides a golfing test of considerable charm and aesthetic pleasure.The exposed first eight holes are pure Scottish links, immediately adjacent to the beach, and the second ten holes are parkland providing a variable challenge. This latter part has the added interest of the river, winding through the fairways to its final destination in the Firth of Clyde.

Belleisle – approx. 30 minutes from Brunston Castle
Belleisle is a classic and a parkland course of genuine character. Set in the harmonious woodland of Belleisle Park, its beech tree lined and extra long fairways are interlaced by the serpentine like Curtecan Burn. It is rather a course of genuine and proven quality, providing an enjoyable challenge to hordes of appreciative golfers who are only too happy to sing its many praises.

Seafield - approx. 30 minutes from Brunston Castle
Seafield has a classic combination of links and parkland fairways that will test the skills of even the most experienced golfer. To properly challenge Seafield, accuracy from the tee is essential at every hole. The greens are tight and testing and must be approached from the proper angle to avoid playing over the greenside bunkers.

Trump Turnberry, Ailsa – approx. 20 minutes from Brunston Castle
The Ailsa Championship course is a legend in the world game. Watson, Norman, Price; they’ve all won The Claret Jug, golf’s most coveted trophy here on the Turnberry link. The Open Championship will return to Ailsa in 2009. In addition to the golf, the scenic glories of the Ailsa Course are to be savoured – the granite dome of Ailsa Craig, the low form of the tip of Argyll and the peaks of Arran.

Trump Turnberry, Kintyre  – approx. 20 minutes from Brunston Castle
Building on the challenges laid down by the famous old Arran course, the Kintyre is links golf at its exhilarating best. Undulating greens, glorious fairways, magnificent ocean holes, and all with stunning views of Kintyre, Arran, and the famous Turnberry Lighthouse.The extra elevation multiplies the panorama that stretches in every direction, but the shots, too, are breathtaking.
